Retired Microsoft Founder Bill Gates to Work for Viksit Bharat

The Viksit Bharat 2047 is the government’s vision to transform the country into a self-reliant and prosperous economy by 2047.

A former executive of software company Microsoft, Bill Gates, met the prime minister (PM) of India Narendra Modi on March 19 in New Delhi. Gates said that he had a great discussion with PM Modi about India’s development, the path to Viksit Bharat (developed India) @ 2047, and ongoing advancements in health, agriculture, artificial intelligence (AI), and other sectors that are creating impact today.

Modi said that he has spoken about diverse issues including tech, innovation, and sustainability towards making a better future for the coming generations with Bill Gates.

Modi posted on Twitter (now known as X), “As always, an excellent meeting with Bill Gates. We spoke about diverse issues including tech, innovation and sustainability towards making a better future for the coming generations.”

While India continues to be an underdeveloped country, the Viksit Bharat 2047 is the government’s vision to transform the country into a self-reliant and prosperous economy by 2047.
